I'm betting we won't even play it. Seriously, as much as I smack Rush around here on the board, I would welcome something new from Rush on KTYD. Usually the only new stuff we play is acoustic or mellow shit by an artist who's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or one of their kids...if it's new and it rocks, it gets played elsewhere. Hate to admit it, but that's the way it is. I've tried to change their minds, but seldom with any luck. I'll talk to the Music Director about sliding it into rotation. We'll probably play it during New Music Monday if we play it at all.

i caught the end of tom sawyer (gag) yesterday on The Octopus and the jock started getting into how they were supposed to have gotten TWO advanced singles already....by most accounts friday the 29th is the official release date......get ready for white male yuppie pandomoneum at the music stores

I talked to our MD today, who wasn't aware that the single was coming out. He said he'd call Mercury Records today to make sure we get copies, and he'd program it for my show on Saturday if it's in by then.

these dudes are FANATICS----this is way beyond fandom IMO...

there is an underground saying that rush is the biggest cult band in the world and that site definately supports it-----it's like shatner on SNL to the trekkers ----Get a life!
